Algae Defense® Algaecide is fast-acting and successfully controls both floating and submerged algae. To obtain optimal control apply Algae Defense® in accordance with label directions at the first appearance of an algae bloom in early spring when water temperature reaches 60°F. For best results use in combination with Treatment Booster™ PLUS.   One gallon treats 8,000 square feet.

DO NOT use in ponds with koi, goldfish or trout unless carbonate hardness is above 50 ppm.
