Coronavirus Updates

May 8, 2020

First and foremost, we want to thank all of you for your continued support of True Pump during these unprecedented times. Many of you have taken advantage of the online ordering and curbside pickup options and we really appreciate all the business.

Beginning Monday, May 11 we will be implementing some new policies as Denver's stay-at-home order expires. We will be allowing people to come into the store but will be restricting it to only 2 customers at a time for your safety as well as ours. All customers will be required to wear a mask when entering the store and maintain proper social distancing, as per City of Denver restrictions. We will also have hand sanitizer and wipes available. The quickest and easiest ordering options will continue to be online and curbside pickup, there could be significant wait times for those wanting to enter the store. When arriving at the store please call to let us know you've arrived since all doors will remain locked.

Aquatic plants will be available beginning Tuesday, May 12 and koi will be available beginning Wednesday, May 20. We do not ship fish or plants but you can still call ahead for curbside pickup of both.

The health and safety of our customers and employees will continue to be our top priority. Thanks to all of you for your outpouring of support and encouragement during these difficult times for all of us. We continue to monitor information from public health authorities, and will communicate updates on a regular basis via email and social media.

Some social distancing restrictions have begun to ease in Colorado, but with the extension of Denver's stay-at-home order through May 8 we will be continuing our current policies and procedures (see below) until at least then. Once restrictions are lifted, we will implement our plans so everyone in the store stays safe.   The health and safety of our customers and employees will continue to be our top priority.

For the health and safety of our customers and employees we have decided to switch to curbside pickup and online ordering only and close the store temporarily to walk-in traffic. This was a very difficult decision but we believe it is the proper one based on the current, ever-changing conditions we all face. Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation.

As the Coronavirus situation continues to evolve I wanted to update you on some of the decisions True Pump has made.


There are multiple options for ordering if you'd rather not come in to our store :
  • You can shop our online store at www.truepump.com, for a limited time we are offering FREE SHIPPING on ALL orders! We will also be offering curbside pickup, just place your order online and choose the "Pickup from Store" option. When you arrive at our store, call us and we'll bring your order out to you.
  • If you're not comfortable with online ordering just give us a call and we'll take your order over the phone.
We are cancelling the April 4 Spring Startup Seminar. If you have questions about what to do to get your water feature started please call and we can walk you through it. We are also postponing the April 11 Pondless Waterfall Seminar to a later date. Currently we are planning to continue with the April 25 Fountainscape Seminar and May 9 Pond Seminar but this may change as circumstances dictate.

I wanted to share with you an update and the steps that True Pump is taking to reduce the risk of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) to our customers, employees and communities. First and foremost, we will be conducting extensive cleaning on a regular basis to minimize the risk of the spread of germs in our retail store and warehouse. We are also making hand sanitizer available at all points of sale. We encourage our employees and customers to practice "self-quarantine" at the first sign of symptoms and "social distancing" where possible. (Sounds like the perfect time to get outside and enjoy some extra time by your water feature!)

Our store will remain open and currently we are planning to continue with all of our April training events as scheduled but this may change as circumstances dictate. If you'd rather not come in to our location you can always shop our online store at www.truepump.com. This is a very dynamic situation that we are watching closely. We will continue to monitor information from public health authorities, and will communicate updates on a regular basis via email and social media.
